PHILADELPHIA, PA—The 30th annual Black Engineer of the Year Award Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (BEYA STEM) conference, powered by Career Communications Group (CCG), kicked off at the Philadelphia Convention Center. When it first began in 1986, The United States Navy and the Mobile Oil Corporation were one of the first two major industry sponsors seeking engineers for their respective Nuclear Engineering programs.
This year, over 2500 students and tech professionals attended the annual career fair held every February during Black History Month.
